Welcome,

We are a small kennel in Eastern Washington State. We live with Miniature Pinschers, Italian Greyhounds and German Shepherds.
We have been involved with dogs for over 30 years, and have been involved in many different types of dog sport's. Our current addiction is the A.K.C. Breed ring. We have been seriously involved in this for 9 years and have had many accomplishments there as well.
We  strive for excellence in all of our dogs and we prove that in the breed ring.
We love to show off our dogs and the dogs we handle for others. So we welcome you to look at the following pages, and we would also like to offer any help with questions concerning the different breeds we have. As we do not do many breedings, we rarely have puppies available but we usually can aid in pointing you in the right direction of finding you a "reputable" breeder.
We strongly urge reading a few books about any breed of dog you think you may be interested in. Often times people get lost in the cuteness of a puppy and purchase on impulse. As we take dog ownership very seriously, we do not approve of impulse buying. A puppy or dog should be a lifetime commitment that should not be taken any differently then having your own child. We would also like to take this opportunity to tell you that if you are planning on or have looked at a Pet Store for a puppy, and the people working there have told you they only purchase from local reputable breeders, they are lying. As there are no 'REPUTABLE" breeders that would ever sell their puppies to a pet store, pet broker or puppy miller. A good breeder is there for the life of the dog they produce. They will be there when you have questions, problems or just need a dog sitter for the weekend. They will know the background of which the puppy came from. They will know of any genetic problems in the breed and in their dog's. They will require that all pets be spayed/neutered and will be sold on a Limited Registration with a contract, Why??, because they care about the health/welfare and their breed. The breeders that are willing to sell a puppy to anyone that has the cash in hand and sell with a full registration have no concerns for the breed or the puppies they have produced and therefore you will usually end up with a dog that will possibly have genetic and or other health problems in the future, including temperament issues. Reputable breeder's are certainly NOT in it for the money, because if you are doing it right, there is no money in it. They are in it for the love of the breed. They spend thousands of dollars on showing their dogs to their Championships, genetic testing, planned breedings that may involve the expence of shipping their female to a male on the other side of the country because HE will help correct a slight flaw in their female, or because those bloodlines match up great because neither have the possibilities of a genetic problem. Breeding dogs correctly is very expencive if done right.
Who or where you buy a puppy from is your choice, but if you are serious about the health and temperament of the puppy you buy then Please research the breed and the breeder.
One more note!!, There seems to be a lot of mix breed breedings going on. And these people doing this are saying it's because they want to offer the public nice little lap dogs for a reasonable price without all the genetic problems. Please, think about this, If you were to purchase a POM/SHI-TZU, you now have 2 different breeds here both of which have LOTS of genetic problems all by themselves. So you have just doubled up on the problems, let alone, you just paid $350.00 to $1200.00 for a mix breed dog. When you could have gone to the local pound and paid $50.00 to $150.00.
